TotalBoat Underdog marine bottom paint is an affordable way to keep barnacles, mussels and other clinging marine fouling pests off the bottom of your boat for a full season. Its ablative action wears away gradually as your boat moves through the water to ensure there's always a fresh layer of biocide to combat marine growth. As it wears away over the season, there’s no paint build-up, so you’ll have less sanding to do next season before applying a new coat. It’s also very durable, and can take the bumps and scrapes from trailering, beaching, and normal wear-and-tear all season long. It's ideal for use on sailboats, power boats, work boats and fishing boats, and is an excellent value for short-season boaters who use their boats on a regular basis.
Underdog sticks to properly prepared substrates, and is an ideal for fiberglass, wood, bare steel, and iron boats. It’s also compatible with most previously applied bottom paints.
Underdog is easy to apply by brush, roller, or spray equipment, and can be thinned for improved flow, up to 10%, with TotalBoat Special Brushing Thinner 100 (brush/roller application), or TotalBoat Spray Thinner 101 (spray application).
